All of our lumber is sustainably sourced either from trees that have fallen naturally or during natural disasters, ensuring that each piece not only tells a unique story but also honors and preserves the beauty of our environment. We also do our best to keep all the natural features of the wood where possible!
Our story.
Four years ago, on a late, summer day, a brilliant man had a brilliant idea. For his daughter-in-law’s new house, he wanted to create a piece of artwork that would stay with them throughout their whole lives. Thus - headstrong as always - he purchased a slab of raw, unfinished wood and a few gallons of epoxy resin, despite having no experience under his belt. With a spark of creativity and a touch of recklessness, he transformed his garage into a makeshift workshop, guided only by his determination and a dream. And on that day - Raven Black Design was born.
